
Sydney Renfro
– Associate
Sydney Renfro is an associate attorney at Farmer & Coker, PLLC. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law in May 2025 and successfully passed the July 2025 Texas Bar Exam. Sydney brings a strong foundation in legal research, client relations, and trial preparation, paired with a commitment to thorough, client-focused representation.
During law school, Sydney served as President of the National Emerging Technologies Council, after previously holding the role of Treasurer. In these leadership positions, she helped guide programming focused on the intersection of law and emerging technologies and had the opportunity to host prominent legal figures, including former Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Nathan Hecht. Her involvement reflects a forward-thinking approach to the evolving legal landscape.
Sydney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a minor in General Business, from Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech, she was a recipient of the Texas Tech Presidential Scholarship and earned recognition on both the Dean’s List and President’s List. She was also honored with the Kappa Kappa Gamma 4.0 Pearl Award for academic excellence.
Prior to becoming licensed, Sydney gained hands-on litigation experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. Her work included drafting and organizing pleadings and legal memoranda; coordinating investigations and evidence collection; preparing trial binders and reviewing litigation materials; and maintaining case files. She also assisted with more than three hundred potential new client consultations and supported attorneys through consistent client communication and case management.
Sydney has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to leadership and service. During her undergraduate years, she held multiple leadership roles, including Membership Chair and Assistant Membership Chair for a large collegiate organization, where she managed a substantial budget, led large teams, and oversaw programs impacting hundreds of members. She also volunteered her time mentoring children and reading to underprivileged youth, reflecting her belief in service and community involvement.
